PRACTICE
My work moves across different settings, but it is guided by a consistent set of values: close attention to place, respect for ecological processes, and an interest in how landscapes are felt as much as they are seen.
Gardens & Landscapes
I design gardens that are carefully considered and deeply rooted in their surroundings—often blurring the line between cultivated space and the larger landscape. I’m especially drawn to gardens that feel as if they’ve always belonged to a site, even though they are highly designed and intentional.
Community & Education
Alongside private work, I collaborate on community-based projects and pro bono gardens with schools, youth programs, and nonprofit organizations. These projects ask different questions of landscape—about access, healing, and shared experience—and they continue to influence how I think about the role of gardens in the world.
In 2024, I was an invited speaker at By Design & By Disaster, an international conference hosted within the Master in Eco-Social Design program at the Free University of Bozen–Bolzano, where I presented Planting Justice: A Garden Designed to Empower Youth in a Juvenile Detention Facility.
Writing & Media
My background in filmmaking and creative direction has shaped a long-standing interest in narrative, attention, and visual experience. Through writing and media work, I explore gardens as cultural expressions and as lived, evolving spaces.
